LSA internship program is designed to increase members knowledge of  a field called social  entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship uses resources to make a lasting social impact. Our goal for our internship program is to create experiences that teach a group of people skills that will enable them to take care of themselves in the long run. To do this effectively at LSA we knew that we would need to make a focused concentrated investment in a select group of young people. To that end, we founded an internship program that has yielded remarkable results.

 

The premise of the program is simple. Each year we  take on 1-2 mentees who show an exceptional desire to succeed, and spend 20+ hours a week working with them to carve out a pathway to success in the fields of leadership, entrepreneurship, and finance. 

 

We encourage all of my interns to be hands on, learn languages, and experience the cultures of the various countries which I  have visited.

 

An active investment in the construction of positive habits that lead to success almost always proves rewarding for not only the parties involved but also those who are close to them.
